Comprehensive Eye Check Up

Comprehensive eye check up A comprehensive eye exam involves a series of tests designed to evaluate the overall condition of your eyes. Your eye doctor does not only determine changes in the eye grade or prescription but also evaluates the back part of the eye (lenses and retina) to check for early signs of eye diseases.

Myopia Control Program

Myopia control' has become the increasingly adopted term to describe the use of treatments aimed to slow progression of myopia. These treatments include special types of spectacle lenses (glasses), soft contact lenses, ortho-k and atropine eye drops

Orthokeratology, or ortho-k, is the use of specially designed and fitted contact lenses to temporarily reshape the cornea to improve vision. It’s like orthodontics for your eyes and the treatment is often compared to dental braces. Most ortho-k lenses are worn at night to reshape the front surface of the eye while you sleep. Vision improvements are reversible but can be maintained if you keep wearing the lenses as directed.

Artificial Eye Fitting

Ocular Prosthesis otherwise known as an artificial eye, is a plastic prosthesis used when an eye is surgically removed. During surgery, a ball implant is inserted into the eye socket to fill the area the eye once occupied. An ocular prosthesis is then molded to fit in front of the implant.
